About us
released.co.uk is run by Released Ltd, trading as Released Records. Released Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 09636605. Our registered office is 71 Commercial Road, Leeds LS5 3AT. Our trading address is Released Records, Outlaws Yacht Club, 38 New York Street, Leeds LS2 7DY. You can contact us at orders@released.co.uk.
These terms apply to every order placed on this website. By placing an order you agree to them. They don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Your order
After you order, we'll email you to confirm we've received it. Our contract with you starts when we dispatch your order. Most of our stock is one-off second-hand records, so if an item turns out to be unavailable we'll tell you straight away and refund you in full.
Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Delivery charges are shown at checkout and in our Shipping policy. Payment is taken in full when you order, using the payment methods shown at checkout. If we've listed something at the wrong price by obvious mistake, we'll contact you before dispatch and you can choose whether to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Descriptions and grading
We describe every record as accurately as we can. Second-hand records are graded by hand using the Discogs grading system, for both the record and the sleeve. Grading involves some judgement, so if you think an item doesn't match its description, get in touch and we'll put it right as set out in our Refund policy. Photos may be of a typical copy of the release rather than the exact copy you'll receive, unless the listing says otherwise.
Delivery
Delivery prices and times are set out in our Shipping policy. Once your order has been delivered to the address you gave us, you're responsible for it. If a parcel is lost or damaged in the post, let us know and we'll sort it out.
Cancellations and returns
You can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order. Our Refund policy sets out how cancellations, returns, faulty items and refunds work.
Our responsibility to you
If we don't keep to these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our failure. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Events outside our control
We're not responsible for delays caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as postal strikes or severe weather. If that happens we'll keep you updated, and you can cancel for a refund if the delay is significant.
Your information
We use your personal information only as described in our Privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the website when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
