Dark Globe - Mondo Scuro
The Lost Record is a blog that shines a light on records that never made the move to digital (notably Spotify or Apple). At best these records have a Youtube fan upload.

I truly loved this record, with its killer beatbox intro diving headfirst into a non-cliched, crazy-big drum break (when at the time, big beat was just looping the obvious funk breaks). It always turned a few heads – I remember playing it at Leeds Warehouse many times (upstairs at Columbia) and at the Faversham (D.Funked and early Fresh Jive events) in the late 90s.
One half of Dark Globe is Pete Diggers. The other half is Matt Frost. Matt is a successful figure in the music industry who has worked across labels such as Global Underground and Island. He is now living in America and heading up Deff Head Management. Matt’s journey looks pretty interesting to say the least – let’s see if we can get hold of him for an industry insight interview!
The label Hard Hands was/is owned by Leftfield.
