"Orchid Hybrid" by Dawkins & Wulls is another collaboration between master guitarist/session musician Chris Dawkins (Nightmares On Wax/Corrine Bailey Rae/Jimi Tenor/David Holmes/LSK), and boundary breaking producer Wulls.

Ten tracks that weave their way through the duo's favourite music genres and influences. From boom-bap instrumental hip-hop beats to dubby ambient jazz, Balearic chilled acoustic guitar vibes to sunny jazz-funk flavours, a soundtrack for the coming summer and perfect for all settings - car stereo, phone, chillout bar, radio shows, club sessions and festival warm-up sets.

Some stand-out tracks are the dreamy Balearic synths and beats sounds of "Sacred Walks", the ambient jazz breaks/George Benson guitar vibes of "Street Rituals", some proper boom-bap instrumental hip-hop on "Check Yer Phone" (forget your phone, check that big dirty snare sound from Wulls on this headnodding killer), and the duo's homage to the jazzman everyone loves, Roy Ayers, via final number "Yes Man Sunshine".
