the 7" disco district

The 7″ Disco journeys back to the infamous Distrikt Bar Leeds, to hopefully win some more hearts courtesy of The Mash Street Kids.

Mash Street Kids made their name putting on back street parties with artists such as Slam, Shades of Rhythm, N-Joi and Matador.  Since then they have moved to District and smashed every party laid in front of them.

“The move to Distrikt brought us back to residents parties and working with the Leeds scene, local DJs and acts”

Music policy for the 7″ disco, house, swing beat, disco, hip hop and oddities all on little pieces of vinyl of course.  Digging for dancing pleasure.

Tbe 7″ Disco exists to entertain without being tired and obvious.  Tony also spent years as a B-boy DJ so he likes to drop the breaks (albeit in a disco form rather than traditional funk).  Its a mini-disco.

Mash Street Kids has been running 5 years.

Residents: Omid Dubtek, Dave Stead, John Marsden play nu-disco, house and more!

Check this mix out as a little taster!

There is it, nice and simple.  A free party at Distrikt 25th November starts 9pm and all set to go RIGHT off as it always does with The Mash Street Kids!
